Southern Medical & Technical College was founded in 2001, with the intention of promoting proper healthcare in Africa through capacity building, education, and research, as well as technologically driven initiatives and international networking. SMTTC is a private college accredited by the Ministry of Education, Department of Technical & Vocational Training. We are also credited as a CPD provider by the Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board. At SMTTC, we are committed to transferring knowledge and skills and creating avenues for young African men and women to step into the medical, biomedical, and biotechnological professions, through quality competence-based training. SMTTC believes in preparing young people for the world of work in clinics, hospitals, and the community at large. In the past 17 years, we have enabled hundreds of young men and women to find gainful employment in various career fields of healthcare, thus empowering them to serve as professional care workers.
