About This Course
Health Service Support develops the competencies needed to provide services in hospital departments and to patients in health facilities, hospices and homes.
You learn first aid, medical-legal ethics, common diseases, the organisation of health facilities and medical terminology, then infection prevention and control, hospital housekeeping, outpatient and inpatient support services, mortuary techniques, and hospital stores and catering services, followed by an industrial attachment.
Entry Requirements
- KCSE mean grade D+; or
- An equivalent qualification as determined by KNQA, and/or as guided by the relevant regulatory body.
