About This Course
This Department offers a range of courses in the electrical field. There are several examining bodies that the Department admits students to undertake courses that lead to their examinations. These are KNEC, City & Guilds (London), Eastview based (SGR), Internal Examinations offered by ETI and NITA.
The courses offered in the Department can be taken in two modes, either regular or part-time. The part-time courses are meant to cater to the students who are working and cannot find time to study during the day time, so they attend evening classes. Regular courses run from 8.00 – 5.30pm from Monday to Friday. Part-time courses run from 4.30 – 8.30pm every day from Monday to Friday and on Saturday they take a full day i.e. from 9.00 – 5.00pm.
The Department boasts of qualified and competent Lecturers that are vast in various fields of Electrical Engineering. Students are trained in both theory and Practice. We have well-equipped workshops and Laboratories for students' practicals.
