Who Can Benefit from Elimys?
Elimys brings together learners, learning institutions, tutors and organisations offering education opportunities. Whether you want to find a course, showcase your institution or share your expertise, Elimys gives you a place to get started.
Learners and prospective students
Elimys is for anyone looking for their next learning opportunity—from choosing a school to finding professional training or learning a practical skill.
You can use Elimys to:
Discover institutions and explore their profiles.
Browse courses and programmes.
Find open intakes and admission information.
Explore scholarships and other education opportunities.
Find tutors for academic subjects and practical skills.
Apply online where the institution has enabled applications.
It is useful for school leavers, continuing students, working professionals, career changers and anyone interested in learning something new.
Learning institutions and training providers
Elimys is for institutions of different sizes and types, including pre-schools, primary and secondary schools, colleges, universities, vocational centres and professional training providers.
You can create a complete institution profile for free and manage it by logging in. Your profile can bring together your institution information, courses, admissions, facilities, photos, contact details, jobs and other opportunities.
Elimys can help if your institution:
Has no online presence: Create a public profile that gives prospective learners somewhere to find and learn about you.
Already has a website: Add another way for learners to discover your institution and programmes.
Finds website updates difficult or costly: Manage information through your account without needing a developer for routine profile updates.
Needs to promote admissions or vacancies: Publish intakes, jobs and opportunities alongside your institution information.
Your institution manages its own account and keeps its information up to date.
Tutors and people who teach practical skills
Elimys is for individuals and tutoring organisations offering academic or non-academic learning.
This includes people teaching school subjects, languages, music, technology, creative skills, professional skills and other areas of expertise.
As a tutor, you can create a profile to showcase your background, experience and teaching offerings. You can also describe your pricing and whether you teach online, in person, or both.
Where relevant, your offerings can include the curriculum and learner level you teach, helping learners understand whether your services suit their needs.
Parents and guardians
Parents and guardians can use Elimys to explore education options for their children or dependants.
You can browse school profiles, review available information, find tutors and check admission opportunities. This gives you a starting point for identifying suitable options and contacting providers for further details.
Scholarship providers and education organisations
Elimys is also relevant to foundations, NGOs, professional bodies, government agencies, companies and other organisations that provide learning opportunities or support access to education.
Depending on what your organisation offers, you can use your profile to showcase programmes, scholarships, training and other relevant opportunities.
People looking for education-related jobs
Elimys can help job seekers discover teaching and non-teaching vacancies published by institutions.
You can review the vacancy requirements, learn about the institution and follow the application instructions provided in the job post.
