What types of institutions can join Elimys?

Elimys is open to organisations that offer learning, training, professional development, scholarships, or other education-related opportunities to external applicants.

You do not have to be a traditional school, college, or university. If people outside your organisation can apply to learn, train, gain a qualification, attend a programme, or access an education opportunity through you, an Elimys institution profile may be a good fit.

Eligible institution types

Educational institutions

Schools, colleges, universities, TVET institutions, academies, special-needs schools, and other formal education providers can create a profile to showcase programmes, courses, intakes, admissions requirements, scholarships, and institution updates.

Training providers

Any organisation offering structured training to the public or external applicants can create a profile. This includes short-course providers, technical training centres, coding bootcamps, language schools, driving schools, vocational centres, creative academies, and professional skills programmes.

Tutoring organisations

Businesses or organisations that coordinate tutors, instructors, coaches, or classes can create a profile. Examples include tuition centres, music schools, sports academies, test-preparation centres, and organisations offering academic or practical skills tuition.

Scholarship providers

Organisations offering scholarships, bursaries, grants, sponsorships, or education funding opportunities can use Elimys to publish opportunities and help eligible applicants discover them.

Professional bodies

Professional associations, institutes, certification bodies, and membership organisations can create a profile where they offer professional courses, examinations, certifications, continuing professional development, workshops, or training programmes.

Government agencies

Government departments, agencies, public institutions, and county or local authorities can create a profile if they provide training, scholarships, internships, public education programmes, skills-development initiatives, or other opportunities that external applicants can access.

Non-governmental organisations and foundations

NGOs, charities, community organisations, and foundations can create a profile where they run education programmes, skills training, mentorship initiatives, bursaries, fellowships, or learner-support opportunities.

Companies

Companies can create a profile when they provide training or development opportunities to external applicants. This may include graduate programmes, apprenticeships, internships, academies, industry training, certification programmes, public workshops, or talent-development initiatives.

Online learning platforms

Online course providers and digital learning platforms can create a profile to showcase courses, programmes, certifications, learning paths, and enrolment opportunities available to learners.

Other organisations

If your organisation does not fit neatly into one of the categories above, select Other. What matters is not the label—it is whether you offer genuine learning, training, funding, or education-related opportunities that external applicants can access.
